I personally loved RE4. I wasn't as impressed with RE5 though.
Mgs4 gameplay is awesome! That game dragged me right in and had me playing non stop. I've found it difficult to get into Mgs5 the same way. PS MGS always holds top spot in my heart though for story and gameplay.
They actually kept the blades system as the pop up menu on the 360.
I didn't mind blades either. It too reminds me of the early 360 days. Battlefield 2 modern combat anyone?
